Trade shows Solar Solutions International and Green Heating postponed to September
Due to the spread of the new corona virus (COVID-19) we have decided to postpone trade shows Solar Solutions International and Green Heating to Monday 7 September through Wednesday 9 September.
In the past few weeks we have had frequent consultations with authorities, experts and other relevant parties. An outbreak in the Netherlands has now been officially confirmed by the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, while a further spread of the virus seems likely. The health of our exhibitors and our 15,000 visitors is our main priority. Therefore we see no alternative to postponing the trade shows.
Important factors in reaching this decision were the concerns many exhibitors have expressed about the safety of their employees, and about the expected impact on visitor numbers. In neighbouring countries and in the south of the Netherlands the government has already decided to cancel large-scale events. By taking this decision now, we were still able to find alternative dates in Expo Haarlemmermeer, the usual location of Solar Solutions International and Green Heating.
Solar Solutions International is the largest solar energy trade show in Northwest Europe. The trade show offers professionals insight into the latest innovations and developments, as well as providing an unmissable networking opportunity. The industry has made it clear to us over the past few weeks that it absolutely needs this platform for doing business. By postponing Solar Solutions International and Green Heating to the start of September, all business opportunities provided by the trade shows remain available to exhibitors and visitors.
The trade show will be moved in its entirety to Monday 7 September through Wednesday 9 September. Also the location remains the same: Expo Haarlemmermeer Vijfhuizen near Schiphol.
The trade show program remains the same or will become even bigger. All exhibiters, seminars, activities and exhibitions will be a part of the trade show in September.
If you have already ordered a ticket, it remains valid. This also applies to VIP tickets and ordered business packages.
Lost your ticket after six months? No problem, we will send everyone the ordered ticket(s) again by e-mail one week before the trade show.

INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITORS
Because the trade show is moved in its entirety, the floor plan of the trade show remains exactly the same. Your stand location also remains the same for your company.
Any orders you have already placed via the Event Planner will be moved to September; any advertisements you have purchased on the site, in the newsletter or in the trade show catalogue will be repeated free of charge.
WARN YOUR STAND BUILDERS OR SUPPLIERS YOURSELF
Have you ordered standard stand construction, extra electricity, furniture, catering, rigging, trusses or cleaning via the Event Planner? This is automatically transferred to September.
Have you made your own arrangements with stand builders or other suppliers? Then do not forget to inform them of this postponement!
NEW CONSTRUCTION DAYS
The schedule for the construction of the trade show shifts as follows:
- Wednesday 2 – Friday 4 September: Construction days
- Saturday 5 September: Furnishing
- Thursday 10 September: Deconstruction
