Lightweight panel from Euronergy with new technology offering very high efficiency 4.2 kg/m2
The link between Euronergy and Hoogvliet in Utrecht is that the Hoogvliet supermarket is located in the renovated, monumental auction hall on Steenovenweg in Utrecht, a building that, with the help of sustainability consultants, has been awarded an A+++++ energy label thanks to innovative sustainable solutions such as PV panels, insulation and an energy management system. Euronergy is a manufacturer of solar panels, one of the technologies that contributes to the enormous energy savings, making this the most energy-efficient monumental building in the Netherlands.
What happened:
The old flower auction on Steenovenweg in Utrecht has been made sustainable and now houses a new Hoogvliet supermarket and a Gamma.
The building, a monument dating from 1954, has been transformed into the most energy-efficient monumental building in the Netherlands with an A+++++ energy label.
This has been achieved by adding insulation, PV panels (solar panels), a large battery, and an advanced energy management system.
The role of Proxables - Euronergy:
Proxables - Euronergy solar (www.proxables.com) is a company specialising in solar energy, particularly in the production of high-efficiency solar panels (PEC modules).
Proxables - Euronergy was the supplier for this specific project, and the lightweight flexible solar panels were essential for achieving an A+++++ energy label, just like those used on the roof of this building.
In short, the link is the sustainability transformation of the Hoogvliet location in Utrecht, where solar energy (such as that from Euronergy) plays a crucial role in achieving exceptional energy performance.
